The Office of Senior Tutor is one of the important components of student affairs. This office is responsible to inculcate highly commendable spiritual, social and moral values and a leadership quality in it’s taught and organizes co-curricular activities for students at the campus. This Office has embarked upon a solid system includes: Tutorial Group Meeting (TGM), Career Development Center (CDC) and Art & Literary Forum (ALF)). This Office also monitors the activities of different professional societies working under different faculties, institutions and departments.
TGM (Tutorial Group Meeting) is regularly held at weekly intervals in 4th period on each Tuesday. Currently, there are 250 Tutorial groups with 20-25 students / group which offer a platform to discover, enlighten and polish the hidden capabilities of the students. Each student is being supervised by a Tutor who also acts as adviser and provided a file with some Proforma which are required to update the information of each student. Students are encouraged to initiate any positive, constructive activity in consultation with their tutor who helps to improve their behavior and sharpen their intellect. Students also have the opportunity to arrange a recreational trip once in a semester. Each Tutor acts as advisor to the students with the following responsibilities.
- Hold weekly meeting with the students in class room to inculcate excellent moral values in the students and to polish their capabilities.
- Render advisory services to the students in all the academic and non-academic matters.
- Maintain student records of curricular and co-curricular achievements.
- Maintain a close contact with students and keep a vigilant eye on their activities.
- Keep a close contact with the parents of students and to inform them about the academic performance and general behavior of their wards.
- In case of any problem, to facilitate the students and try to resolve the problem.
- In case of involvement of a student in indiscipline case, to coordinate the disciplinary advisory committee, based on information contained in the file of respective student regarding his conduct & character.
- Finally update the given students’ file/record at the end of each semester and make assessment of students’ conduct and character to be reflected in their character certificates.
CDC facilitates students for their career selection by career counseling and providing skills to seek jobs. This center under the supervision of the Senior Tutor become a hub between students, University and Organizations for well judged career decisions by inculcating in them market oriented skills which enhance their creativity and enable them in finding their unique positions.
ALF, at larger level, provide a diversified set up (clubs) include: Qiraat & Naat, Debating, Quiz, Writers and Art club where students perform their potential and compete at university level and selected for a team who participate in various competitive events organized by different universities & institutions at national and International levels. The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, has a long history of bright tradition of excellence in the field of agriculture and life sciences. The office of the controller of examination forms an integral component of the University’s administration and is striving towards maintaining this tradition and envisages its further improvement to face the future challenges. Primarily, this office compiles / notifies the results submitted by the faculty members / examiners and issues degrees / certificates / diplomas to the successful candidates after completing all the requirements laid out in the University’s statutes and regulations. This office also verifies the degrees/certificates/diplomas submitted by the employers/applicants. This office is comprised of mainly three sections and all the relevant information of these sections and their services can be found below:
- Undergraduate, B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons) programs
- Postgraduate, M.Sc./M.Sc. (Hons.)/M.Phil./Ph.D. programs

Our university is one of the 10 universities where this cell has been established by HEC. The Central Hi-Tech Laboratory was established in 1997 at Faculty of Agriculture, University of agriculture, Faisalabad with the cooperation of Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA). Initially, specialized and highly sophisticated equipments were provided by JICA to cater the research requirements of scientists/researchers from various departments / faculties of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Later on, new equipments were purchased through a Higher Education Commission funded project. The laboratory offers opportunities for scientific research that enable researchers to pursue research in disciplines of biological, chemical and physical sciences. Services are offered not only to the students and researchers from this university but also to other universities, research institutions, non-government organizations and industries. Nominal fee for each analysis is charged with special subsidized rates for students.

The office of the Hall Warden is assisted by three Associate Hall Wardens. Each hall is administrated locally by a Hall Superintendent assisted by one/two Assistant Superintendents who have to reside in Halls. Hall senate also arranges residence for students and staff on tours to University of Agriculture, Faisalabad from all over the country.
There are eighteen residential Halls that provide excellent accommodation for students. For male students, residential Halls are namely Qasim, Babar, Jinnah, Tariq, Ayub, Z.A. Hashmi, Kashmir, Faisal, Teepu, Qazzafi, Sir Syed, Liaqat, Afzal and Fateh Hall.
For female students three residential halls namely Fatima-tul-Zuhra, Khadija-tul-Kubra and Ayesha Siddiqua Hall. Khalid Hall is reserved for married students.

- To maintain law and order in the residential Halls.
- To guide and facilitate the residential students and solving their day to day problems in the hostels.
- To provide economical, hygienic and nutritious food to the students in the hostels.
- The Hall Warden holds supervisory charge of residential Halls. To deal students matters all the residential Halls are divided in three components and each Associate Hall Warden Supervises the hostel matters of his respective component.
The library represents an outstanding facility to meet the dictates of the University's charter of promotion of education and research in the field of agriculture and related areas. The University unfortunately had a poor beginning with only 24975 volumes, out of which 14657 were books, 3691 journals in bounded form, 1911 reports and 4716 bulletins. The need to expand the library in the number of volumes and space became therefore, imminent. A new library building was planned to effectively help student education and to the faculty to familiarize themselves with current development in their respective fields and to aid research by providing source material.
The new building was completed in 1973. It is functional, simple and modern. Its exterior presents an attractive blend of modern and oriental architecture. It is a double story building and is centrally air-conditioned. It has a covered area of 45000 square ft. The total collection is now 2,46,220 which includes 21,035 manuscripts and 51,800 volumes of national and international research journals covering various discipline taught in the University. It is a depositary library for the FAO and World Bank Publications. The Library has about 9,000 members comprising of faculty members, students and researchers of the University.
The well-known and the latest books are available related to field of agriculture and allied sciences. These are technically processed and placed in the library in such a manner that students feel stimulated to reading. In order to keep the faculty and students informed of the current developments in their respective fields, the library is acquiring about 35 precious scientific periodicals. The library has its own bindery consisting of three book-binders and daily paid workers. The Library is receiving publications of various governments, semi-government, national, foreign and international organizations.
The Library has database under the Oracle based module developed by the University I.T. Team to cater the needs of readers. Online public access catalogue terminals are available for searching. The Global Information Centre is functioning from 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. with 28 computers. Approximately 175-250 students, faculty members and research scholars use the Internet services daily. Information Resource Center is also functioning with 20 computers for female students only.
